Former law minister Rana Sanaullah Khan on Wednesday has approached the Lahore High Court for post arrest bail in a drug case. A special court for Control of Narcotics Substance (CNS) on September 20 had dismissed bail petition of Rana Sana while released five co-suspects. The petitioner through his counsel Azam Nazir Tarar argued that the case was politically motivated and based on mala fide intension. He said the recovery of narcotics attributed to the petitioner was just eyewash. He argued that the prosecution failed to present any independent witness of the alleged recovery from the petitioner.
